Dear Weavers, Wild Ones, and Kin,
I am so excited (and terrified) to put this calling out into the world! Welcome to The Weave and The Wild — a space that has been brewing in me for a long time. I have not experimented with this medium before, nor have I ever endeavored to put my personal writing into the public sphere.
But something I can’t explain is drawing me to this calling, and I know in my bones that writing is part of how I build the world I wish to see. I write and remember not only to survive—but to dream beyond what we have thought possible. Imagine a loom for living in the both/and. A bit strange, slightly subversive and very sacred—with a little side-eye to empire.
As a result, this space is born of longing — for deeper connection, for shared ritual, for stories that remember and reimagine. It's for those of us who are weary of binaries and blueprints, and instead, drawn to the strange, sacred, and interconnected ways of becoming. It honors both intentional community-building and the untamed, organic nature of human connection and resistance. It holds space for both ritual and rupture—to explore collective care practices, kinship networks and ancestral memory.
So, if you're reading this, you're among the first to arrive at this digital hearth, and I want to express my gratitude to you for showing up at the edge, in the in-between, where all things begin.
I’ll share thoughts, essays, reflections, and stories rooted in ancestral wisdom, lived experience, collective care, and radical imagination. I don’t have many neat answers or fast takes. It’s a slow, intentional, living thing. A tapestry we tend together. A place to sit with questions, to learn and unlearn, to feel the tremble beneath the surface, to make meaning in the mess, to co-create.
If you feel moved, I’d love to hear from you:
What called you here?
What threads are you weaving in your own life?
What does wildness or weaving mean to you right now?
You can reply to this post or drop a comment below — this space is stronger with your presence, your stories, your voice.
With love and in multiplicity,
Neha
Oh my Dear Neha! This is sacred! I am honored to be here, and your words will change many a thought and many a heart. I cannot wait to be one of those people. Even though in Italy I already felt your words. I am excited to see your journey. I truly appreciate you and send all my love and care. I am jumping up and down in my heart.❤️
I am so excited to partake and participate in this space you’re creating, to have the privilege of watching your thinking take shape on the virtual page! Thank you for this offering to our collective future!
